The 2004-05 edition of the ISM’s Register of Performers & Composers has been
published. It includes full details of musicians who belong to the ISM’s
Specialist Section for Performers & Composers.
The main directory lists performers and composers alphabetically, giving their
specialisations, addresses, contact numbers and website details.
A classified index groups performers and composers according to specialism. It
also gives the name of their local Regional Arts Council and their main contact
telephone number.
ISM Chief Executive, Neil Hoyle, said:
‘The Register contains a wealth of information on performers and composers
across a wide spectrum of specialisms and interests. As such, it is a valuable
reference tool for anyone working in the music business.’
Also in the 2004-05 edition are classified listings for adjudicators, jurors and
masterclass tutors who have been engaged in national and international events,
and a list of members who are not currently accepting professional work, but
wish to retain their links with the Section. The Register carries details of
recommended rates which apply to performers and composers, as well as a sample
of the ISM Artists Contract and the text of the ISM Code of Ethics for the
Section.
The ISM’s Register of Performers & Composers can be seen on the Society’s
website (www.ism.org), where it is updated every week. The 2004-05 paper version
